FWaaS Overview

The FWaaS section is the portion of the SSE dedicated to L3/L4 network security. It offers full Firewall-as-a-Service(FWaaS) capabilities, Deep Packet Inspection(DPI), and DNS management on top of QoS bandwidth management.

The FWaaS section contains 3 main categories, listed below:

Application QoS	Allows for the control of bandwidth for over 2470 applications for specific users and user groups
Application Firewall	Allows for the control and flow of traffic through the SSE service firewall
DNS Firewall	SSE DNS firewall policies are created and controlled. Creating protection at a DNS level, denying access to specified IPs and Domains by blocking DNS records to stop access at the DNS level
