SWG Hub

This section is used to create and manage policies related to Layer 7 by analyzing packet headers and their body contents to protect the network from internal and external threats. The Web menu also allows for the creation and organization of signature related lists(C&C, ATP, Anti-virus, Proxy Server, Risky Website, Malware), HTTP categories, and the remote browser functionality.

The SWG policy menu is the primary section of the SSE platform that administrators will use to set security policies.

The SWG section is organized into three main parts, which will be explained further below:

  • SWG - The main section where Web Policies are configured
  • Signature Management - Allows the user to add and remove different websites and IP addresses from select rules
  • HTTP Category Management - Contains the names and basic descriptions of HTTP categories
